More power. Higher throughput. Greater performance. With the Terra Dos 5 High Performance, HOLMER is setting new standards in sugar beet harvesting!
Together with Zeppelin Power Systems, HOLMER Maschinenbau GmbH is launching a new configuration designed for maximum performance and cost-effectiveness. At its heart: a Caterpillar C18 ACERT six-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 18.2 liters and a whopping 597 kW (812 PS).
This makes the Terra Dos 5 High Performance the most powerful beet harvester in the world.
This extra power is particularly noticeable in situations where the machine is pushed to its limits. Whether on hilly terrain, heavy soils, or when unloading while on the move: The power reserves enable higher area output and ensure maximum efficiency during harvesting operations. In combination with HOLMER’s 12-row harvesting unit, the machine is consistently designed for high throughput.
But performance alone isn’t everything. With its new drive concept, HOLMER relies on a practical and maintenance-friendly solution. Aside from a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), the Terra Dos 5 High Performance does not require complex exhaust aftertreatment systems. SCR systems and AdBlue technology are eliminated, while the machine continues to meet EU Stage V and EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards.
Less complex technology means fewer potential sources of error for operators, simplified service, and the potential for lower maintenance and repair costs. At the same time, the Caterpillar C18 stands for robustness and durability under heavy loads. The globally established Caterpillar service network and high spare parts availability provide additional peace of mind during operation.
The Terra Dos 5 High Performance combines 812 PS, high throughput, and practical technology. The result is a machine designed for maximum productivity and reliable performance, even under demanding conditions.
